Laser Peel, or the "weekend" peel for those of you unable to take a week off  for your CO2 fractional laser skin resurfacing.
Our Light Laser Peel is performed using one of the most advanced CO2 fractional laser systems which can be customized in three different ways to address your skin needs, the power of the laser, the density of the fractionated laser beams and the depth of the laser penetration into the skin. Lower power ensures, safety, speedy recovery and low incidence of side effects, the density of the laser beams determines the improvement in the surface of the skin (texture, fine lines, sun spots) and the depth of the laser beams determines the stimulation of collagen and elastin production in deeper layers of skin (for skin tightening, thickening and reduction of deeper wrinkles)

The best candidates for Light Laser Peels are individuals who are looking to have more dramatic results than the non-invasive skin resurfacing methods such as microdermabrasion and light to medium depth chemical peels but do not have the one week of recovery time to be "in hiding" with the deeper laser peels.

Our series of  Micropeels and Medicated Chemical Peels can remove up to 5 microns of skin surface leading to a very effective skin "resurfacing" and  deep exfoliation for smoother texture, improvement in surface discolorations and fine lines. With the light laser peel, we can remove between 15- 30 microns of the skin surface layers AND gently heat up another 15-20  microns depth to stimulate collagen production for effective skin tightening and improvement of deeper wrinkles.
 We like to tell our patients that one light laser peel is equivalent to the results of  six sessions of our micropeels done at every 2-3 weeks.
